Young Justice

Anyone else watching Young Justice?

I like it. Apparently set on Earth 22 (or some such), hence the slightly different look, ages, and circumstances of characters.

I miss Kevin Conroy, Tim Daly, and other voice actors from the previous WB series DC animated series, but the voice actors they do have do a very good job.

I was really hoping for YJ to be Tim, Connor, & Bart, so I was a little disappointed at that not being the case.
Of course, it doesn't stop the show from being really good!

I am interested to see what happens with M'gann though.
I don't like the character from the comics, so I will be interested to see if I prefer this take on her.

As for the voice actors, I much prefer them in this than some of the choices made for DCUO.
For example, I Gina Torres in Firefly, but in DCUO she makes me hate Wonder Woman.
Not all the voices seem exactly right in YJ yet, but nothing grates in YJ as much as Diana in DCUO!

One thing that might start annoying me is Miss Martian saying "Hello Megan" when she has a revelation.

One thing I do love is when animators include the little things, like when Bruce and Clarke are talking in the cafe, and when Clark leaves, he puts on ye olde reporter's hat.

Love little touches like that.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the whole 'Hello Megan' bit at all.
Thankfully she only said it once in ep 4 & not at all in ep 5.

Can't wait to see how things go when Mia joins the group

Actually, not liking that they're trying to have a 'thing' for each character... just let them be people & not caricatures.

I'm liking what I have seen so far, just watched the new DC animated movie
All Star Superman and the DC Short Stories Collection...Both very good
